CTC Year-End Party!

Join us on Saturday, September 26 for our final social of the season! Come out, enjoy some great food, take part in some fun tennis, and celebrate another fantastic summer at the Calgary Tennis Club.

Tickets are required for the food portion of the event. Your food ticket will include a delicious family-style buffet, featuring:

Chicken skewers
Rice
Potatoes
Pita
Salad
Tzatziki
Roasted vegetables

Please arrive on time for the food service. Food will be available while supplies last. We will do our best to order more than enough for everyone, but quantities cannot be guaranteed.

We’ll also have a Pro Am event, where members will have the chance to take on our pros, who will be handicapped for a tiebreak.

There will also be a Round Robin, but space will be limited to the first 72 people who purchase a ticket to the event. If you’d like to participate in the Round Robin, please indicate that when purchasing your ticket.

5:45 PM – Check-in for Round Robin
6:00 PM – Round Robin begins
7:30 PM – Food service opens
7:30 PM – Pro Am starts

CTC Golf Tournament

Get ready to hit the links! We’re excited to invite you to the CTC Golf Tournament on Sunday, September 27 at Rivers Edge Golf Club in Okotoks. The tournament is open to both members and non-members.

Whether you’re a regular golfer or just looking for a fun day out , we’d love to have you join us!

Tournament Details

Date: Sunday, September 27
Location: Rivers Edge Golf Club, Okotoks
Cost: $120 per person
Format: 4-person scramble
First tee time: 11:00 AM
Tee times: Every 9 minutes

Your $120 registration includes:

Green fees
Golf cart
Prizing
Prime rib roast buffet dinner

Please plan to arrive approximately 20 minutes before your scheduled tee time to check in. Tee time will be communicated via email on Monday September 24th.

Teams

This is a 4-person scramble, and all four players must register individually. Each team will need a captain to communicate logistics with CTC.

Team captains please email Doug at manager@calgarytennisclub.com with the names of the players on your team. Doug will assist with monitoring team registrations.

Don't have a full team? No problem! Let us know and we’ll do our best to help you find teammates.

Scramble Format

In a scramble, all four players tee off, and the team selects the best shot. Everyone then plays their next shot from that location. This process continues until the ball is holed.

Each player must have at least two of their drives used during the round.

There are no handicaps for the tournament.

Additional contests and prize categories will be announced closer to the event.

Food & Drinks

Following the round, players will enjoy a prime rib roast buffet dinner, included with registration.

Food and drinks will also be available during the day. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

What to Bring

Players are responsible for bringing their own golf clubs. Club rentals are available from Rivers Edge, but you will need to contact the course in advance to arrange a rental.

Golf carts are included with your registration and the course requires standard golf attire.

Players are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the course. CTC is currently exploring options for group transportation, with more information to come after the registration deadline. There will be an additional fee for transportation.
